In short I figured this would be better then a guest book. But please, no one word responses, or "Oh, me too" replies.
Avatars are available, something like 90 x 90 pixels and 13 kb. You can upload them if you want but the requirement is that they be tiny. If anyone actually ends up using this board it may get some refinement to it.
Now that that's over, this form is intended for Adults Only! I'm sure children might attempt to come here, that is just the way things are, but this place is not for children. So if you're an adult, i.e., over the age of 18 and you want to talk here go ahead. Topics are pretty much anything but stay away from things that might call in the law enforcement. And try to keep on Slayers, it's okay and understandable to go to other series or just anime in general but Slayers is the heart of this board, there are many other places on the net to talk about other things.
Once you have a password as long as you are out of the public sectoins (clearly marked) you can use whatever kind of language you want, you need a password just to look at those sections so unless someone has already lied during the sign in then there should be no children watching. Although I usually tend to use a somewhat scholarly tone and my choice of words is usually somewhat less vulgar then most, that doesn't mean you have to stick to my precident, although I don't mind if you do. Just try to keep it comprehensible.
Since this is on pay space if this board actually gets out of hand I will prune it down just to make sure I don't exceed my bandwidth but otherwise it will grow uncontrollably very very slowly.
Finally, for not so adult related discussion may I suggest http://www.slayersfan.com instead of this site, as that site is definately more orientated towards that subject and this site in no way means to compete with it.
December 11 1:50 am, added the first fanfic and messed with the bb code so the center command now works.
Note on the fanfiction area, if you want to post a fanfic, exceptionally long fanfics have to be posted in separate posts due to board constraints, I spent quite some time editing a fanfic, i.e., putting in bold face and italics and when I went to submit it, it cut it in half, when I clicked back the rest wasn't there, so be careful of that.
March 5, 2005: I think I have all the categories on the main page organized how I like them, probably close to the final layout.
August 28, 2005: Board finally re-uploaded and the center command fixed better then before (there is a button for it now) also I re-programmed in the picture uploading option. Everything should be working fine now. Hopefully.....
November 27, 2005: Made a FAQ for the board that reflects this board but lost the technical FAQ in the process, oops!
